Product Description Digital calipers allow you to quickly and accurately gauge your measurements. No more quinting and bending close, trying to squeeze bizarre spaces. Craftsmen and women who use digital calipers find that their work gets done more quickly and to a higher degree of exactitude. Brand new design, this caliper now added a new function to display Inch-Fractions. Easy 1-button to switch between MM, Inch, and Inch-Fractions (Graduation: 0.01mm, 0.0005in, 1/128 in-fraction) SAE 0" to 8" and METRIC 0 to 205MM. Stainless steel frame printed with both MM and Inch. This caliper also comes with a depth gauge. Carrying cases and two batteries included.

Good measure tool for many usefull April 29, 2010 Roberto Luiz Faria (São Paulo, SP, BRAZIL) I bought this tool for hoby job and like that very much. Then, I gave my friends this measuring tool as a gift and they loved it.
Unreliable, didn't work as advertised March 21, 2010 Brian I had exact same problem as another reviewer where going beyond 6" the display would go nuts. It also ate through batteries. Then, after just a few months (of _very_ light use), it was completely unusable (stuck at 0.000 except a few places where I got wild, random readings). Junked.
Waste March 20, 2010 M. Hoffseth (Santa Cruz CA) I bought two of these, they both have the same problem. They say 8" calipers, but as soon as you pass 6" the display goes wild jumping around in double digit numbers.
Not as precise as I would like December 13, 2009 Miguel Suarez (Caracas, Venezuela) Maybe I'm not using it the way it should be, but if I'm not getting consistenly measurements. I changed the battery and I'm following the instructions and if I go to the extreme this thing misses the target by an inch.
Good enough December 9, 2009 T. McGahee (NJ, USA) I got this when it was on sale, and it's good enough for most uses. I wouldn't recommend building nuclear reactors based on its measurements, but for the sale price, it's as good as you're going to get for something that does fractional sizes. It comes with two batteries - and for good reason. They die fast. It turns itself off after about a half-minute if not used, but I'd recommend turning it off right away to save battery life. My first battery died after very light use for about a week and a half.
The small guide wheel at the bottom right of the screen on mine snapped off almost instantly, but it doesn't seem to affect anything.
